Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • An Oven
  • A Food Brush
  • A Knife
  • A Chopping Board
  • A Serving Plate

Ingredients

  • 4 Frozen Burger Patties
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Four Burger Buns
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Red Onion

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 F and place a baking sheet or a rimmed tray in the oven to heat up as well.
  • Remove the frozen burger patties from their packaging. Lightly brush each side of the patties with oil to prevent sticking. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides for added flavor.
  • Once the oven is preheated, carefully take out the hot baking sheet. Place the seasoned, oiled patties on the sheet.
  • Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The internal temperature should reach 160F when it’s fully cooked.
  • In the last 2 minutes of baking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Return the patties to the oven and let the cheese melt.
  • While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns for 3 to 5 minutes in the oven, or until they’re lightly golden
  • Place each cooked patty with melted cheese onto the bottom half of a toasted bun. Add your preferred toppings like a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce, and a few rings of red onion.
  • Place the top bun over the assembled burger and serve it immediately.
