Step 1: Prepare All the Ingredients and Oven
Gather all the ingredients to start cooking. But before that preheat your oven to 425F with a rack in the center position.
Step 2: Make the Rice Mixture
Take a 10-inch oven-safe skillet and place one by one, French onion soup, beef broth, rice, and sherry vinegar. Stir the mix with a wooden spoon to combine everything. Then place butter slices evenly over the mixture and cover the skillet with an aluminium foil.
Step 3: Bake the Rice
Now bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove the foil paper and again bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Till rice is cooked perfectly and absorbs most of the liquids.
Step 4: Add the Cheese
Turn the oven to broil and make sure the rack is about 6 inches from the heat. Even sprinkle the gruyere and mozzarella cheese over the top. Broil for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and golden brown. Na the rice gets crispy around the edges.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, serve, and devour immediately.
