Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ Cups Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Curry Powder
  • ½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 tbs Thyme
  • 1 cup Salted Butter
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • As per needed Apple Cider Vinegar/ Lemon Juice
  • 1 Ib. Ground Beef
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Scallion
  • 2 Scotch Bonnet Peppers
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Organic Beef Stock
  • ½ tbsp Ginger Powder
  • 2 Fresh Thyme Springs
  • 1 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Flavio Riz
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Browing
  • 1 tbsp Jamaican Hot Sauce
  • Optional Beef Bouilon Base
  • One pinch Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions
 

  • Pour the flour into a large bowl. Add sugar, curry, turmeric powders, and salt. Mix them properly with the whisky.
  • In this mixture, add some grated butter and mix and combine them evenly. After the proper combination of the ingredients, pour ice-cold water slowly. Start preparing the dough together.
  • This step is very important, kneading the dough. Spread the dough on a plain surface. You will have to Knead the dough until it turns smooth and close-knit.
  • After finalizing the dough, cover it with a paper towel or soft cotton cloth. Then, you need to keep it in the fridge to chill for a while.
  • Take a frying pan, then pour olive oil and butter together. Heat it over medium heat. After heating the oil, put the butter in it.
  • Add the onion and Scotch bonnet pepper thoroughly. You need to sauté them until they turn transparent. At this stage, add the ground beef to fry it till the texture becomes brown.
  • Add all the seasonings and spices, a bouillon cube, ½ cup of water, and browning sauce. Mix them thoroughly.
  • After a few minutes, use the sauces and stir them until the liquid is absorbed like paste form. Remove the frying pan from the heat. Remove the bay leaf from the recipe as well. Cool it down the beef sizzling aside.
  • At this moment, take the dough out of the freezer and start rolling it out. First, construct small round shapes of that dough then put beef stuffing. Give them a half-moon shape. Lastly, use a fork to lock the patties.
  • For glassy shells, take an egg. Pour 2 tsp of milk into it. Before baking, brush this mixture over the patties. It will make the crusts look shiny.
  • To set your oven beef patties, the temperature would be 180 degrees C. Place the patties on a baking dish coated with parchment paper. Bake until the beef patty Jamaican transforms golden brown.
