Equipment

  • A Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheets
  • Parchment Paper
  • Rolling Pin
  • Spatula or Knife
  • Oven
  • Serrated Knife

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Chia Seeds
  • ½ Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • ½ Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • ½ Cup Flaxseeds
  • ½ Cup Oat Flakes
  • 2 Cups Juice Pulp
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • Cups Water
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  • The first step is to prepare your oven. Heat the oven to 350°F or 175°C. Preheating the oven will reduce the overall prep time.
  • Take the mixing bowl and gather up all the chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, oat flakes, juice pulp, salt, water, and olive in it. You can increase or reduce the amount of a particular item to intensify a particular nutritional value or a taste in the crackers.
  • Now stir the mixture well and let it rest for 10-20 minutes. It will allow seeds to mix completely absorbing the liquid. In the end, it will take a dough-like form..
  • Take and lay two sheets of parchment paper on the table. Now, place the dough-like mixture between the sheets.
  • To flatten the mixture and ensure even distribution between the sheets, roll a roller pin all over the mixture. Try to make it thin while preserving a harmonized thickness.
  • Now place the whole arrangement on a baking sheet. Be extra-careful during the placement to not to break the balance of the mixture. Now, carefully strip out the top sheet of the parchment paper.
  • Carefully place the entire baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes straight and then flip the entire mixture. Bake for another 10 minutes. You will see the edges of the mixture turning golden brown.
  • While baking, keep a constant temperature and make sure that the both sides of the mixture are cooked evenly. Don’t overheat or overcook to avoid burning.
  • A balanced bake will transform the mixture into crunchy crackers. Bring the crackers out of the oven and let it rest for a while and cool down.
  • Once the temperature falls, it’s time to give shape to your crackers. Better, use a serrated knife to cut them into pieces. If shape has little value to you, you can also use your bare hands.
  • Once cut or broken into expected shapes, and sizes, store the crackers in an airtight container at the room temperature. If you are cautious enough and don’t keep the container open for a long time, these crackers will last for nearly three weeks.
  • If overtime, crackers lose their crispness, just reheat them in the oven for a couple minutes. It will bring the crispness back.
